Bens H. Petit, 23, of Trenton, was charged recently via summons with terroristic threats and three counts of disorderly conduct.

The charges stem from an alleged incident last Tuesday evening at the offices of Action Network in the 300 block of West Trenton Avenue in the Morrisville section of Falls Township. Dispatchers alerted responding officers that a man was at the business yelling.

Dispatchers reported hearing yelling in the background of one 9-1-1 call.

Petit was identified as the man causing the disturbance. He was reported to have filed his taxes through the business and was recently at the location about his tax refund, police said.

A staff member told an officer Petit came to the business yelling about money he did not receive from his refund. He had previously been to the business and was threatening staff and yelling about money being missing, police said.

Last Tuesday, Petit was reported to have yelled, cursed, and threatening staff at the tax business. He also yelled a racial slur at employees and three children – ages 9, 10, and 11 – who were in the business. The children became scared, police said.

Petit yelled that he didn’t care the kids were there and he said he would “burn this place down” before attempting to fight an employee. He also threatened to kill the employee and bring people back with him, police said.

Staff said Petit kept saying “blood” and showing them a tattoo on his arm, which worried them, police said.

Petit left the office and staff locked the door. Shortly after, he returned and attempted to get in before giving up, police said.
