Members of the regional U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force descended upon Bristol Township Friday morning.

Deputy marshals swarmed the 3500 block of Dixon Avenue and captured Tyreek Moore, 36.
Moore was being sought by the Bucks County Sheriff’s office on two warrants – one for possession of a firearm while prohibited and one for a probation violation with the underlying charge of aggravated assault, according to authorities.
“After disabling his GPS monitoring December 2021, Moore became a fugitive and the case was delegated to the Marshals Service shortly after,” the U.S. Marshals Service said in a statement.

On Friday morning, deputy marshals learned Moore may have been visiting a woman in Bristol Township.

Around 7 a.m., task force investigators knocked on the door of the residence on Dixon Avenue, authorities said.
After a short time negotiating, Moore was arrested without inicident and taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in Doylestown Township, authorities said.
“The Bucks County Sheriff’s Office appreciates and values the partnership we have with the U.S. Marshals Service. Today is an example of what cooperation between a County and federal agency can do. Being able to track down and taking into custody without incident a dangerous criminal helps maintain the safety of our community through the spirit of cooperation between agencies,” said Bucks County Sheriff Fred Harran.
