Two area school district’s will be opening late Monday.

The Bristol Borough School District announced they will operate with a two-hour delay Monday due to refreezing and an “abundance of caution.”
The neighboring Bristol Township School District said they also will open two hours late Monday “to allow for the safe transport of our students following the weekend snowstorm.”
The Neshaminy and Pennsbury school districts plan to operate as previously scheduled.

The weekend storm dumped about 8 inches of snow over the area.
The regional Bucks County Technical High School, which is located in Bristol Township, issued the following statement related to Monday transportation:
Although Bristol Township and Bristol Borough will have a 2-hour delay for Monday, 1/31/22, BCTHS and the other sending districts will be open on time.
Bristol Borough buses will transport Tech students at their regular time.
Bristol Township buses will transport Tech students on a two-hour delay.
Repeat – BCTHS will open at its regular time for Monday, 1/31/22.
