The Pennsylvania Farm Show is back and butter than ever.
The much-anticipated annual butter sculpture was unveiled Thursday at the event in Harrisburg.

The staple of the farm show matches this year’s theme of Harvest More. It is dedicated to the nearly 5,400 daily farmers in the Keystone State.
The sculpture, sponsored by American Dairy Association North East (ADANE), features urban and rural agriculturalists coming together by toasting glasses of milk.
Jim Victor and Marie Pelton began work in mid-December to sculpt the work of art from a half-ton of butter donated by Land Oโ Lakes in Carlisle, Cumberland County.

โThe butter sculpture is a creative way to highlight the stateโs dedicated dairy farmers and the important role agriculture plays in our lives,โ said Casandra Long, a dairy farmer from Doodle-A-Long Farms in Chester County. โProducing nutritious milk and dairy products and feeding people is what I love most about being a dairy farmer.โ
State agriculture Secretary Russell Redding commended the farmers of the state as he inspected the sculpture.
