UPDATE: Subject Of Hulmeville Warrant Service Arrested
Two armored trucks and officers with long-guns drawn rushed down a sleepy street in Hulmeville Borough Friday morning.
While many people were clearing their driveways from the morning snowfall, police were on the trail of a person wanted for an alleged armed robbery that took place in Montgomery County.

Hulmeville Borough police Chief John Baran said officers from the borough, Penndel Borough, and East Norriton Township in Montgomery County assisted the local South Central Emergency Response Team in executing arrest and search warrants at a home in the 200 block of Catherine Street.
“The suspect named in the warrant was not found at the residence and the warrant is still active,” Baran said.
Police said there is no threat to borough residents, and the investigation remains active.

The chief said the tactical team was called up because of the seriousness of the arrest warrant and knowledge of guns being used in the alleged robbery.
