A Penndel Borough man who sexually assaulted five boys is likely to die behind bars.
Louis Charles Aiello, 59, was sentenced Thursday by Bucks County Judge Diane Gibbons to 49 to 98 years in state prison. He also was deemed a sexually violent predator by the state Sex Offender Assessment Board.

Based on the length of his sentence and his age, the prison term is likely to mean Aiello will not live long enough to see freedom again. The soonest he would finish his sentence would at age 108.
Aiello, once known for performing around the area as a singer and DJ, was found guilty during a July bench trial on charges of rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old, statutory sexual assault, and aggravated indecent assault.
The 59-year-old was accused of sexually abusing five boys between 1993 and 2010. A sixth boy said Aiello exposed himself to him.

Neighbors of Aiello told a reporter in 2020 Aiello often had minor boys at his home and had invited local boys over.
