Two suspects being sought by Falls Township police made off into the night Tuesday.

Falls Township officers were searching Tuesday night for two suspects accused of attempting to take catalytic converters from vehicles at a dealership on Lincoln Highway along Route 1 in the Morrisville section of the township, police Chief Nelson Whitney said.

The suspects ran away from officers and triggered a manhunt.

The chief told LevittownNow.com the Philadelphia Police Department’s Tac Air helicopter and K-9 units from Middletown Township police assisted in the search.

“Ultimately, the suspects got away,” Whitney said.
