F-15 Fighters Zoom Over Area

Four F-15 fighter jets belonging to the U.S. Air Force streaked over the Levittown area Friday afternoon.

The jets were practicing for a planned Sunday flyover of the Philadelphia Eagles game in the city.

LevittownNow.com readers reported the fighter jets made several passes over the area – being sighted in Bristol Township, Falls Township, Lower Makefield Township, and Langhorne Borough – shortly before 2 p.m.

A military member said the flights were connected to preparations for the weekend flyover.

While it’s not uncommon for military aircraft to fly over the area, multiple passes by fighter jets are not a regular sight across Lower Bucks County.
