A little bit of rain did not dampen the spirits or generosity of 111 golfers, who spent a day on the links, supporting the 22nd Annual Family Service Association of Bucks County Drive for Youth Golf Outing, which recently took place at Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope.

The event raised more than $84,500 to support the vital health and human service programs that are provided to the community by Middletown Township-based Family Service Association of Bucks County.
In addition to being the most successful golf outing in history, the fundraiser proudly honored its youngest supporter, 10-year-old Bensalem resident Grace McCarthy. During the past year, McCarthy, a Girl Scout, led several charitable initiatives that made a tremendous difference in the lives of many local children and families in need. She was presented with The Susan N. Altomari Champion for Youth Award by Family Service CEO Julie Dees.
โGraceโs care for others, and her determination to help, has inspired all of us at Family Service,โ said Dees. โThank you, Grace, for making a lasting, positive impact on those we serve.โ

The tournament was sponsored by NFP Executive Benefits, LLC. Those in attendance enjoyed lunch, several in-game contests, a raffle and silent auction. The evening program featured cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Awards were announced by Family Service Board Member Frank Sullivan, Esq. and NFP Vice President, Business Development Brian Rodgers.
