Police Continue To Work Stabbing Investigation

Bristol Borough police continued this week to move forward a stabbing investigation.

The investigation revolves around who stabbed a 43-year-old man was knifed in the upper back outside the Mavis Discount Tire on Route 13 last Monday. The man underwent surgery at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia and he was recovering earlier this week.

The stabbing happened following a verbal altercation with a group. One person stabbed the man, who then made his way to a nearby business, police said.

Chief Steve Henry said a suspect has been identified in the case.

No arrests had been made as of Thursday, according to court records.

“We’re working it pretty hard,” Henry said.

On the same day as the stabbing, there was an unrelated assault in the Commerce Circle area that left a person hospitalized.

The chief said that incident also remained under investigation.
