The road has been closed near the bridge over the creek since the storm at the start of the month.

The rushing water washed away some of the roadway and rippled the pavement, leaving it unable to be driven over.
At the start of this week, Middletown Township officials said reconstruction on Silver Lake Road is underway.
A new stone sub-base has been put in place and township officials expect the roadway to be open again in the coming days.
