During the course of an investigation, officers discovered that a subject, identified as a 57-year-old man was wanted by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. the man was detained and the warrant was double checked. It was confirmed the man was wanted in a 2006 DUI case due to failure to appear in court. He was arrested and transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
July 21

During a check of a closed business on Lincoln Highway, twoย males were discovered sitting next to the building. One of the males had a cart attached to a bike with a variety of hand tools inside. When the officer turned around to check on the males, one left before the officer arrived. While interviewing the remaining male about the circumstances that brought him to the closed business, it was discovered that the subject was wanted by Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. A 32-year-old man was identified and detained as the warrant was double checked. When deputies confirmed the warrant, the man was taken to Middletown Township police for fingerprinting. The man was then released to the deputies when they arrived at the Penndel Borough police station.

DUI
An officer came across an accident that had just occurred. While speaking with the drivers involved, the officer could detect the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the breath and person of one of the drivers involved. The driver was identified as a 42-year-old man. During the investigation it was discovered that the man failed to stop for a red light, going through the intersection of Durham Road and Lincoln Highway, and striking another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and was attended to by EMS. The man was asked to participate in field sobriety exercises, which he was unable to do. The man was arrested for suspected DUI.

During the course of a accident investigation, it was found that the driver ofย a vehicle involved was wanted by Bucks County Sheriff’s Office for a parole violation. The subject was identified as a 45-year-old man. The man was detained as the warrant was checked. Once confirmed, The man was taken to the Middletown Township police station to be fingerprinted and then he was released to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office.

An anonymous caller reported that a wanted subject was in the 7-Eleven store on West Lincoln Highway. Officers from Penndel Borough and surrounding departments responded to the scene. A 41-year-old man was identified as the wanted subject. The man was arrested after a computer check indicated that he was wanted. Further fingerprint checks indicated that he was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. The man was taken to the Penndel Police station and then taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. There are other charges pending the outcome of the investigation.ย

Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Hulmeville Avenue for a report of a domestic in progress. The victim reported that his ex-girlfriend had attempted to force her way back into the apartment for the second time in the day. An officer was close to the location of the call and the victim reported that the ex-girlfriend, identified as a 51-year-old woman, had left in a red vehicle south on Hulmeville Avenue towards Bensalem Township. As the officers began to look for her vehicle, an officer from Hulmeville Borough spotted the vehicle on Main Street and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop, but eventually stopped in the 300 block of Main Street in Hulmeville Borough. Officers from Penndel Borough arrived to obtain her side of the story. While speaking to the driver, the man’s ex-girlfriend, they could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath and person. The man was asked to participate in field sobriety exercises, which she was unable to complete. The man was arrested for suspected DUI and charges are pending the outcome of lab testing. While investigating the incident, officers found an open can of an alcoholic beverage in the rear seat of the vehicle that was still cold.

An officer was conducting traffic enforcement when he observed a vehicle traveling on Lincoln Highway without functioning a functioning rear lighting system. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer made contact with the driver. A check of PennDOT records indicated that the woman had a suspended license was not allowed to be driving a vehicle. A check of the front seat passenger, a 42-year-old woman, showed that she had an active warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. She was arrested and released to deputies upon their arrival. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer made contact with the driver, Melissa Roy. A check of PennDOT records indicated that Roy had a suspended license was not allowed to be driving a vehicle. Another check of the rear seat passenger, a 27-year-old man, showed that he had an active warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. The 42-year-old woman and 27-year-old man were arrested and released to deputies upon their arrival. The vehicle was towed as there were no licensed drivers available to drive the vehicle.

An officer observed a vehicle exit a business on Lincoln Highway and make a short left hand turn into the wrong lane of travel before making a wide right on to Hulmeville Road. The vehicle was stopped and contact with made with the driver and sole occupant, a 23-year-old man. While speaking with the man, the officers could detect the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and person. The man was asked to participate in field sobriety exercises. He was unable to complete them. he was arrested for suspected DUI and charges are pending the outcome of lab testing.ย
