A detached garage was badly damaged by a fire Tuesday morning.
The fire happened around 8:12 a.m. in the 800 block of Winder Drive in Bristol Township.

Crews arrived to find flames coming from the garage. They got to work quickly extinguishing the blaze, Third District Fire Company Deputy Chief Michael Ferguson said.
“It was a pretty easy knock down,” he said.
No injuries were reported.

The resident was home and alerted to the blaze.
A Bristol Borough police officer at the nearby Bristol Commerce Park shopping center spotted the flames and called it in, Ferguson said.

Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said aside from the heavy damage to the garage, there was damage to the exterior of the home and a truck parked in the driveway.
The fire marshal was looking at wiring from a switch and outlet as the likely cause.
The Croydon, Edgely, Levittown No. 2, Newportville, and Third District fire companies responded, along with Bristol Township Fire Rescue.
