The intersection of Veterans Highway and Route 13 saw flooding in the recent July 12 storm.
A PennDOT spokesperson told LevittownNow.com the work was planned before the recent flooding.
In addition to the Bristol Township pump, PennDOT will have similar work done on four pump stations in Philadelphia.

The entire project is being carried out by Montgomery County-based Carr & Duff Inc. as part of a $2.4 million contract.
