Sesame Place Launching Fireworks Every Weekend

To celebrate summer, Sesame Place has begun weekend fireworks shows.

The Saturday and Sunday evening fireworks displays kicked off July 17 and run through September 5, according to park officials. The displays are weather dependent and start around 8:30 p.m.

The weekend fireworks displays are a first for the theme park in Middletown Township. Previously, the park has only offered fireworks for some holiday celebrations.

The fireworks are accompanied by a light show hosted by Abby Cadabby, Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Count von Count. To bring it all together, there is music that fills the park.
