An SUV driver had to be cut from their seat after they slammed into a roller working on the repaving project along East Lincoln Highway.
The crash happened around 4:10 a.m. Thursday on East Lincoln Highway in front of the Chipotle and Goodwill store.

Police, medics, and firefighters responded to the scene.
In a social media post, the Penndel Fire Company said they arrived along with the Fairless Hills and William Penn fire companies. Crews removed a center column from the SUV and were able to free the driver.
The driver was turned over to medics for treatment.

The crash happened in the construction zone where PennDOT is repaving the four-lane road in Falls and Middletown townships.
