The proposed Wawa along Lincoln Highway has won approval from the Falls Township Board of Supervisors.
The supervisors granted preliminary and final land development for the 5,585-square-foot Wawa with eight fueling spots on a roughly 2-acre site at Fairless Hills Shopping Center at 500 Lincoln Highway at the corner of Arleans Avenue and Lincoln Highway in Falls Township.

Wawa will tear down the existing building that houses Arosso, A Touch of Sicily Italian-style restaurant, which LevittownNow.com confirmed will move to another spot in the shopping center, to construct their store and gas station.
Wawa had planned a drive-thru window attached to the building, but those plans were dropped, according to a township spokesperson.
With the new Wawa, the company plans to have a right-turn only entrance along Lincoln Highway, connections to the shopping center, and an entrance and exit along Arleans Avenue. They also have agreed to a six-foot-wide sidewalk along Lincoln Highway and upgrades for pedestrian safety at the intersection.

Last year, the Falls Township Board of Supervisors approved rezoning of the 2 acres where Wawa wants to built.
Wawa already operates 10 locations within five miles of the Fairless Hills Shopping Center.

Also at the meeting, the supervisors voted 4-1 to to approve preliminary and final land development to Bumm Holdings Company LLC to demolish an existing structure on the property located at 140-A Old Oxford Valley Road and construct a 2,400-square-foot storage building and parking lot in its place next to the Amazon warehouse on Cabot Boulevard on the Falls Township and Middletown Township border.
