The American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania will have a community resource center open Thursday for those impacted by Monday’s serious flash flooding.

The center is located inside the Maltese Room behind the Cornwells Fire Company at 2049 Bristol Pike in Bensalem Township. It will be open from noon until 3 p.m.

Caseworkers will be able to connect impacted locals with financial support for temporary lodging, relief supplies, and make connections with government agencies, Red Cross spokesperson Dave Skutnik told LevittownNow.com.

The Red Cross has assisted approximately 150 people after the flooding caused significant damage Monday in Bensalem Township, Bristol Borough, Bristol Township, and Northeast Philadelphia.

Thursday is the final day the community resource center will be open, but those who still need assistance can call 1-800-RED-CROSS.
