The county-wide charity event secured enough donations to unlock an additional $25,000 donation from Bucks Countians Simon and Jane Hallett.

โ€œWe are so grateful to all of our generous donors who helped us reach this goal,โ€ said Timothy Philpot, director of health and financial stability at United Way of Bucks County. โ€œBecause of them, weโ€™ll be able to provide ongoing support to food pantries in Bucks County and keep our Fresh Connect program going strong.โ€

Bucks Knocks Out Hunger helps fight food insecurity throughout the county. One of the focuses is bringing healthy foods, including produce that is grown locally, to local residents.
