Bristol Township will be receiving nearly $700,000 to modernize and upgrade traffic signals.
The township’s funding from the state comes through PennDOT’s Green Light-Go program, Gov. Tom Wolf’s office said in a statement.

Below are the projects being funded:
- Bristol Township โ $106,282 for Veterans Highway (Route 413) at Otter Street, railroad preemption upgrade.
- Bristol Township โ $331,702 for modernization of the New Falls Road at Newportville Road traffic signal.
- Bristol Township โ $247,544 for upgrading traffic signal detection at eight intersections including timing optimization.
PennDOT’s Green Light-Go grants are awarded via reimbursements to municipalities for updates to improve the efficiency and operation of existing traffic signals.

Statewide, more $15.6 million was awarded Wednesday for signal upgrades across 50 municipalities.
