Falls Township Community Park will be rocking through the rest of this year.
The Falls Township Board of Supervisors approved a deal with Mid-Atlantic Event Group to offer drive-in movies and in-person concerts at the park.

Township Parks and Recreation Director Brian Andrews said the park hosted drive-in movies last year during the pandemic with Mid-Atlantic Event Group.
Supervisors Chairman Jeff Dence said the drive-in movies were popular last year.
Andrews said last year’s agreement didn’t have the township generating revenue, but Mid-Atlantic Event Group covered the event costs.

“It was about getting people out to have something to do,” Andrews said.
Continuing to work with Mid-Atlantic Event Group, the park is expected to host in-person concerts in addition to the drive-in movies.

The events, according to Andrews, are expected generate revenue for the township.
The agreement with Mid-Atlantic Event Group puts the “burden” on them to handle the licensing rights to movies and music, solicitor Lauren Gallagher said.
