Bucks Knocks Out Hunger is a fundraiser for local food pantries and a way to provide hunger relief to families struggling to get back on their feet.
โThis challenge gift is an incredible opportunity to ensure that people are not only fed but receive healthy foods that meet their nutritional needs,โ says Marissa Christie, President & CEO at United Way of Bucks County. โOur hunger relief sites are serving twice as many people as they did pre-pandemic. Your support โ big or small โ will help your neighbors recover and rebuild,โ she adds.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused an additional 30,000 people to experience food insecurity in Bucks County. Funds raised for BKO Hunger will supplement local food pantries with healthy options like fresh eggs, fruits, vegetables, and milk.
