An 86-year-old woman died in a crash on Hood Boulevard in Falls Township Tuesday morning.

Nancy Amoroso, of Morrisville, was traveling south on Hood Boulevard in a 2017 Nisan Sentra when she struck a parked vehicle near Fairhurst Road across from Pennsbury High School, police said.
“Ms. Amoroso is believed to have experienced a medical emergency, veered across the opposite lane of travel, and struck a parked unoccupied vehicle,” police Chief Nelson Whitney said.
Amoroso was rushed to Jefferson Bucks Hospital and pronounced dead.

The crash happened at 7:48 a.m.
Neighbors and people passing by told LevittownNow.com both vehicles were badly damaged.

“I saw severe hood damage on both vehicles and no skid marks, so the person driving probably did have a medical issue, as the officer told me,” said Randy Miller, who lives near the scene.
Hood Boulevard was closed for several hours as police investigated the crash.

Hood Boulevard was closed Tuesday morning due to a serious crash.
Falls Township police said the roadway was closed as of 9 a.m. between New Falls Road and Queen Ann Drive. One vehicle ended up striking a parked car.
