PennDOT will be repaving a section of heavily-traveled Lincoln Highway.
The state agency said in a press statement that work will begin Sunday night and continue through early July on Lincoln Highway between South Bucks Town Road (by the mall) in Middletown Township and Tyburn Road in Falls Township.

The project will involve lane closures in both directions from Sunday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
“PennDOT is milling the existing roadway surface and repaving the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface,” officials said.
In April, PennDOT patched the state roadway, but the area where the repaving is scheduled is riddled with potholes.

Drivers have been advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area.
The paving work is dependent on weather conditions.
