Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck On Trenton Road

A man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car Tuesday afternoon.

The man was struck by a vehicle while crossing Trenton Road near Dolphin Road in Middletown Township’s Levittown section around 3:30 p.m.

The man who was struck suffered head injuries and was taken to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment, Officer Kevin Platenecky told LevittownNow.com.

The driver of the striking vehicle stopped and was cooperating with the investigation, Platenecky said.

Trenton Road was closed in the area for some time as police investigated the crash.
