Thanks to some help from skilled carpenters, a Middletown Township baseball field’s dugouts were upgraded.
Last month, the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors and Parks and Recreation Director Paul Kopera recognized the members of carpenters union Local 167 for their help.

The carpenters spent hours over several days making several upgrades to the baseball dugouts at the 90-foot baseball field at Middletown Township Community Park, Kopera said.
The existing dugouts needed work and the wood was rotting.
The upgrades are expected to last for the next 10 to 15 years, Kopera said.
