On Road To Dallas, Carry The Load Treks Through Area


Ten years out, Carry The Load continues its mission of of raising awareness and paying tribute to military members and emergency responders who have passed away.

On Wednesday evening, participants from Carry The Load walked from a rally in Yardley Borough to Middletown Township and Langhorne Borough on their way to Dallas where multiple teams from across the country will converge for Memorial Day.

The Carry The Load team stopped at the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company station in the borough for a break before heading back on the road with an escort from the fire company and police.

The national program’s teams will travel 15,500 miles in the relay that also raises money to support programs to bring awareness, care, and education.

In 2020, Carry The Load switched to a virtual model due to the pandemic.
