Spring is in the air, and Bristol Borough’s street sweeper is hitting the streets.
The borough will start street sweeping operations Thursday, but no citations will be issued for those who don’t move their vehicles until Thursday, May 20.

Police Chief Steve Henry asked residents to observe parking restrictions on their street so the sweeper can clean.
The borough’s street sweeper was recently refurbished for use this season, Borough Manager Jim Dillon said.
The borough will look at replacing the aging street sweeper in 2022.
