A Middletown Township man is accused of keeping a woman against her will, according to court papers.
Middletown Township were called to Ramble Road in the Parkland section for a report of a dispute in mid-February.

A woman, who was staying in a shed on the property, reported she was confronted by Brian Keith Winder, 41, who confronted her about property that he was missing. At the time, he had a knife at his hip and a metal baseball bat in his hand, police said in court papers.
Winder told the woman he would have to do what he did to other women. He relayed that he would “handcuff girls to trees butt-a** naked and leave them there long enough to soil themselves. That’s how I’m going to have to teach you not to steal from me,” police said.
The woman told officers Winder then hit the walls of the shed with the bat and threatened to killer her if she left the shed, police said.

The woman was able to call 9-1-1. Officers learned there was an open line with a man and woman arguing. There were references to a bat and knife, police said.
The next day officers found Winder in the shed with a knife on his hip and narcotics and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Police reported Winder told them he used the bat to hit the side of the shed to instill fear in the woman. He said he did not get his property back.
Winder was charged with simple assault, forgery, possession of an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, harassment, false imprisonment, and related offenses. He was arraigned by District Judge Daniel Baranoski and jailed on 10 percent of $50,000.
The charges were initially filed in February, but they were dismissed at a preliminary hearing on March 10, according to a court docket. They were refiled in April with approval of the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.
