Police in Bristol Borough took a report after an apparent disagreement between the school board president and superintendent.
According to sources who spoke to LevittownNow.com, School Board President David Chichilitti and Superintendent Dr. Rose Minniti had some sort of difference in opinion late last week that left a sour taste in the mouth of the district’s top administrator.

The details surrounding what the disagreement was about were not able to be entirely confirmed as of Monday evening, but it was confirmed the incident led to a borough officer taking a report. Lower Bucks Source first posted about the incident Sunday.
Whispers of the existence of the police report began to circulate over the weekend. A copy of the police report was not seen by this news organization and police did not immediately respond to a request for comment because the chief was out of the office.
The incident, according to sources with knowledge, that led to the report being made to police was over the disagreement and not a threat of violence.

Chichilitti, a longtime school board member is running for reelection, said he “cannot speak at this time” on the incident.
Minniti did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

No charges or citations were filed in relation to the case as of Monday and it was unclear if the complaint will lead to anything being filed.
Minniti was hired by the district in 2019 and has been well-received in the community.
At the April school board meeting, Chichilitti thanked Minniti and the administration for getting students back in classrooms.

“I was pretty aggressive with Dr. Minniti a couple times. If she hung up on me, I wouldn’t blame her. She worked very hard and is always available,” he said with a chuckle.
Recent school board meetings have not shown indications of major problems between Chichilitti and Minniti.

When asked for comment about the police report being filed, school board member John Ruszin threw support behind the superintendent.
“I just want to state that Dr. Rose Minniti is doing a great job. The job we hired her to do. She really doesn’t need anybody trying to micromanage her or dictate to her how to do her job,” he said.
