A Bristol Township man awaiting trial for allegedly sexually abusing a teenage boy is now facing additional charges.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and Falls Township police filed paperwork alleging David Charles Hofmann, 60, sexually abused another boy. He is now facing additional charges of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors, and indecent assault.

The second boy came forward to Falls Township police at the end of March and claimed that Hofmann sexually abused him when he was 14 to 15 years old with most of the assaults happening in Hofmann’s pickup truck throughout Bucks County while they collected scrap metal. One of the assaults happened on New Rodgers Road in Bristol Township and another took place in Upper Southampton, according to police.
The latest victim reported Hofmann abused him about 20 times, police said.
“On June 8, 2020, a phone call between an individual and Hofmann was audio recorded. During the conversation, Hofmann made numerous admissions to sexually assaulting [the second victim] and indicated that he sexually assaulted other juvenile males in addition to [the second victim],” a detective wrote in court papers.

Hofmann has been in the county jail since early last June after charges were filed for the first reported victim.
The first victim was allegedly abused by Hofmann from 1995 to 2007. The man would buy gifts for the boy so he would stay silent, police said.

The first victim told his family there was another teen boy being sexually abused at the time, police said.
One of Hofmann’s reported victims was also abused by another man, but it appears there was no other connection between the two defendants.
Hofmann has a trial date in the case for the first reported victim scheduled in the coming weeks.
