A new development with seven homes is being planned for Bath Road in Bristol Township.
Developer Ralph DiGuiseppe, who also serves as the president of Bristol Borough Council, brought several requests for variances before the Bristol Township Zoning Hearing Board earlier this week.

The developer is looking to build in the 3000 block of Bath Road on a roughly 2-acre property surrounded by the Newportville Fire Company station, Century Avenue, and Green Avenue. The plans call for a private street with five homes on it and two off Green Avenue. There would be no driveways onto Bath Road and the large spruce trees would remain. The homes are projected to be about 2,600-square-feet each.
DiGuiseppe said he has an agreement of sale with the property owner.
Rick Stoneback, the project engineer with Charles E. Shoemaker Inc., was requesting zoning relief for the impervious surface ratio for some of the homes and buffer areas.

There was no opposition from neighbors during the meeting.
The Bristol Township Zoning Hearing Board granted the variances.

The plans for the proposed development still have to go through the land development process and win approval from Bristol Township Council.
