All Pennsylvania residents age 16 and over will be eligible to schedule an appointment for COVID -19 vaccines starting Tuesday, Gov. Tom Wolf and the state’s COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force announced Monday morning.
The state’s planned move to Phase 1C began Monday and full eligibility for all qualified Pennsylvanians was slated to begin next week. The updated timeline meets President Joe Biden’s national plan to have enough vaccine doses for all who want it by summer.

โEveryone needs and should be afforded the opportunity to access the vaccine as soon as possible,โ Acting Secretary of Health Alison Beam said. โAnd, this change provides earlier access for many, including college students increasing the likelihood of completion of two-dose regimens prior to leaving campus for the summer. It also means simpler, streamlined operations for vaccine providers that no longer need to check eligibility of people making appointments.โ
Last week, the state moved to Phase 1B after months of being in Phase 1A. Vaccine doses delivered have continued to increase, including in Bucks County.
Bucks County operates a vaccine resource page that has scheduling information. Vaccine doses are also being administered through numerous local pharmacies and other medical providers.

โWe need to maintain acceleration of the vaccine rollout, especially as case counts and hospitalization rates have increased,โ Wolf said. โTherefore, just as President Biden has brought forward universal adult access to vaccines from May 1 to April 19, we are moving Pennsylvaniaโs timeline of universal adult access to April 13.โ
About 88,000 people have their first dose and 105,761 people are fully vaccinated in Bucks County. The state has seen more than six million doses administered.
