Bristol Twp. Repaving 3.6 Miles Of Roads

Eleven roads will be repaved in Bristol Township this year.

Bristol Township Council recently approved a $537,974.56 contract with James D. Morrissey Inc. for the work.

Township officials said the repaving effort will cover 3.6 miles of roads with work beginning in June.

The entire stretches of Goldenridge Drive, Geranium Road, Ruby Lane, River Lane, Orange End Pass, and Oaktree Pass will be repaved. In addition, Red Cedar Drive from Edgely Road for .48 miles, Red Cedar Drive from New Falls Road to Ruby Lane, Edgely Avenue from Wood Avenue to Rainbow Lane, Landreth Lane from Radcliffe Street to Palmer Avenue, and Beech Street Radcliffe Street to Wood Avenue.

Bristol Township stepped up efforts to repave roads – some which had not been repaved in 60 years – starting in 2012. The township has repaved 130 miles of township roadways.
