AutoZone To Challenge Advance Auto Parts In Penndel

Advance Auto Parts is getting a competitor in its neighborhood.

Work is underway on an AutoZone at the corner of West Lincoln Highway and Hulmeville Avenue in Penndel Borough.

Once completed, the two stores will be less than 800 feet apart on West Lincoln Highway.

The AutoZone will be about 6,000 square feet when it is completed.

The AutoZone is being constructed on the long-vacant corner that last was a Lukoil gas station that closed more than a decade ago.

No date for the opening of AutoZone has been announced. The company has nearby locations in Bristol Borough and Bristol Township.

Advance Auto Parts opened in Penndel Borough in 2008.
