A Middletown Township middle schooler took the top prize in the township’s Teen Talent Show.
Despite the pandemic, the township’s parks and recreation department hosted the annual talent show virutally.

Layla Goodwin, 13, a student at Maple Point Middle School, won the overall competition for her dancing. She has danced since she was 18 months old and can perform numerous different styles.
The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors recognized Goodwin at their Monday evening meeting.
All the participants in the talent show received a $25 gift certificate for local eateries.
