Police, Firefighters Free Stuck Deer


A deer stuck that stuck was rescued with the help of police and firefighters.

The doe became wedged between fence posts in the 2900 block of Bath Road in Bristol Township Thursday around 2:15 p.m. during the snow storm. Firefighters from the fire marshal’s office, police Sgt. Mark Titus, and a member of the Newportville Fire Company assisted with freeing the deer.

Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the doe was freed by the emergency responders and it quickly ran off.
