A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Bucks County as a wintry mix will move into the region.

The storm will begin mid-afternoon Saturday and taper off late Saturday night into early Sunday, the National Weather Service said.

There is a chance for less than an inch of snow and a sixth of an inch of ice with the storm. With temperatures already below or around freezing on Saturday morning, icing could become a serious problem.

“This is the first of several systems which will affect the region with potential wintry precipitation into the new week. The main periods we are concerned about are Monday night into Tuesday and again Wednesday night through Friday,” forecasters said.

There is a threat of a wintry mix or snow every day aside from Wednesday. As of Saturday, none are forecasted to have major impacts.
