A group of Pennsbury High School students heard from a former federal prosecutor and cable news legal analyst last month.
On December 22, students in teacher Angela Minor’s AP American Government and Politics class heard from Elie Honig, former New Jersey and federal prosecutor for the Southern District of New York and on-air legal analyst for CNN. The virtual visit was part of the class’ lesson on the federal judiciary.

“Mr. Honig discussed his experiences while serving as a prosecutor and then reviewed the organization and jurisdiction of the courts and ways to reduce the politics of the judiciary,” said Minor. “Mr. Honig was impressed by both the questions the students asked and those they were able to answer.”
In a tweet, Honig said it was a “wildly impressive class with college-level skills.”
Minor connected with Honig after he posted on Twitter where he was offering some time to talk with students.
