The Falls Township Board of Supervisors held their reorganization meeting Monday evening.

Supervisors Jeff Dence was appointed to continue as chairman and Jeff Boraski will keep serving as vice chairman at the annual meeting held to start the new year. Dence will complete his second term in 2021, and Boraski started his second term in 2020.

“I appreciate your confidence,” Dence said to the other supervisors.

Law firm Rudolph Clarke, who has served the township for two decades, was reappointed as solicitor at the rate of $195 per hour for general counsel and $375 per hour for land development.

The supervisors also appointed law firm Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell, and Hippel LLP as the labor counsel, Flager & Associates for zoning and land development issues, Hill Wallack LLP for code appeals, and Bidlingmaier and Bidlingmaier P.C. as conflict counsel.

Jones Engineering Associates was reappointed as township engineer, and Remington and Vernick Engineers as traffic engineer.

Dence suggested postponing appointments to the township’s various boards, commissions, and advisory bodies due to the fact the groups have not been meeting regularly due to COVID-19.

“We will be coming back to that once we start having the regular meetings again,” Dence said. “We will be getting to that soon, hopefully.”

The supervisors said they look forward to returning to in-person meetings again.

Correction: A previous version of this story had the incorrect terms for the chairman vice chairman. The error has been corrected.
