U.S. Marshals Arrest Man Wanted For Attempted Murder

A man wanted for an alleged attempted murder in New Jersey was nabbed in Bristol Borough Tuesday.

Around 6:15 a.m., members of the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force and borough officers arrested 39-year-old Dwight Washington, who was staying with a woman at her apartment on Second Avenue, authorities said.

Washington, whose birthday is next week, was wanted by Bayonne, New Jersey police on an attempted murder warrant filed last Tuesday, Supervisor Deputy U.S Marshal Rob Clark told LevittownNow.com.

Washington was being held as of Wednesday in Bucks County on a fugitive from justice charge and awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
