A shooting along Edgely Road in Bristol Township was under investigation Wednesday evening.

According to a law enforcement source, the shooting happened around 7:10 p.m.

A silver car sat in the middle of the road between Curtis and Marion avenues as of 8 p.m. with both doors open. Officers appeared to be searching the area for evidence.

The condition of the person shot was not confirmed as of 8:30 p.m.

Edgely Road was closed in the area as the investigation was underway.
