UPDATE: Philadelphia Man Dead After Being Struck By Car

A pedestrian died after being struck along Lincoln Highway Monday evening.

Further details on the crash were expected later, but police confirmed the person died following the crash on Lincoln Highway just past Oxford Valley Road in Falls Township.

Police, the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and the Fairless Hills Fire Company were dispatched to the area of the Pep Boys for a struck pedestrian around 7:40 p.m.

LevittownNow.com readers said the roadway was blocked into nighttime as investigators worked the scene.
