The second lady, who was in Philadelphia earlier to discuss mental health at a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs center, visited the Bristol Borough campaign field office, according to a Republican who attended the event. They said the event was not made public but some campaign volunteers and supporters were invited along with Bucks County Republican Committee Chairperson Pat Poprik.
Campaign staffers at the office were not authorized to comment to a reporter about the event. Trump campaign spokespeople did not immediately return requests for additional details on the campaign stop.
Due to the pandemic, there have not been any large scale rallies set in Bucks County by the Trump campaign or that of former Vice President Joe Biden. However, Lara Trump and Ivanka Trump have visited Central Bucks County. On Friday afternoon, Eric Trump will make a stop in Central Bucks County.

The visit comes in the shadow of Democratic and Republican polling from summer that showed Trump lagging behind Biden in Bucks County. An early October poll commissioned by Democratic congressional candidate Christina Finello showed Biden leading Trump in the First Congressional District 54 percent to 39 percent.
