Police were investigating several shots fired into a parked vehicle Wednesday evening.

The car was parked outside Statesman Health and Rehabilitation on Trenton Road in Middletown Township’s Levittown section when it was hit by several rounds, police Captain Pete Feeney said.

No one was struck by gunfire, Fenney said.

“We’re still trying to sort out what happened at this point,” Feeney said.

A helicopter circling over the area was not connected to police, the captain said, noting it may have been from one of the TV stations.
