The national financial powerhouse based in California listed in filings that the branch on Trenton Road in the township’s Fairless Hills section will be closing, a report in the Philadelphia Business Journal said.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reported that Wells Fargo has announced plans to close 199 locations in 2020, including 12 in the Philadelphia area.
The Wells Fargo branch on Route 13 in Bristol Township’s Croydon section has been temporarily closed during the pandemic. Other local Wells Fargo locations remain open

Earlier this summer, Wells Fargo reported its first quarterly loss since 2008 and announced plans to cut $10 billion in costs, according to the Charlotte Observer.
