By noon on Wednesday, power returned for a significant number of Levittown-area customers following damage from Tropical Storm Isaias.

PECO data as of noon showed just over 12,700 customers in the Levittown area who did not have service. That number is down from more than 27,700 customers on Tuesday evening but still a significant amount of outages.

Across Bucks County, PECO reported 39,000 customers without service. The Doylestown area was also hard hit and suffered serious damage from a confirmed tornado.

“Individual estimated restoration times are being updated as crews assess damage, however, it could be several days until power is restored to all customers impacted by this storm,” PECO spokesperson Alexandra Coppadge said.

PECO said they have their crews and contractors dispatched throughout the area working to restore service.

Around the Levittown area, Tropical Storm Isaias brought damaging winds and significant rain to the area. Flooding was not a major problem.

Downed power lines, trees, and limbs caused numerous road closures in the area through Tuesday afternoon. By Wednesday, most roads had reopened.
