A fire was contained Thursday morning at a 55-plus condominium community in Bristol Township.
The call was dispatched around 9:40 a.m. at the Hearthstone at West Bristol condos on Moore Street.

Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the blaze involved a washing machine in a third-floor condo. The fire caused the sprinkler system to activate and contain the flames to the laundry closet.
The third-floor condo where the fire happened suffered smoke and water damage. Two additional units below had water damage.
No injuries were reported.

Residents of all but one unit were allowed to return to their condos around 2:30 p.m.
Fire companies from around Bristol Township and surrounding towns responded to the scene along with the Bucks County Rescue Squad.
