Continuing the trend of out-of-state COVID-19 infections being recorded, Bucks County health officials reported Friday that seven of 21 cases were caught that way.
Of the 21 cases, seven were from out-of-state travel, four were caught through household contacts, three were residents or workers at long-term care centers, two were infected through community spread, one was infected in a healthcare setting, and one was too delayed to the considered infectious. Four people were unable to be reached by contact tracers.

“Number one, just remember that (the virus) is still there,” Health Department Director Dr. David Damsker said during a virtual Thursday news conference. “It’s not gone. Green does not mean gone.”
Residents have been advised to continue staying home if they feel sick, monitor their health, social distance, and to wear a mask when near others.
Two deaths were reported Friday. One of a 79-year-old man died in late May and a 64-year-old woman died in mid-April. Both had underlying conditions and one lived in a long-term care facility.
