
On Tuesday, Bucks County health officials added 29 COVID-19 cases to the running tally.
Of the 29 newly reported cases, six of them were so delayed that they are no longer considered infectious, according to the Bucks County Health Department.

Among the newly reported infections, eight were residents or workers at long-term care centers, five were caught through household contacts, four were spread in health care settings, three were from community spread, two were travel-related, one is a jail inmate, one was infected at a workplace, and five were unable to be interviewed by contact tracers.
One new death of a COVID-19 patient was reported on Tuesday. The 89-year-old man was a resident of a long-term care facility with underlying health conditions.
As of Tuesday evening, 77 patients were in local hospitals and 12 were in critical condition on ventilators.

Since the pandemic began, 5,284 COVID-19 cases have been reported, 503 deaths, and 3,187 confirmed recoveries in Bucks County.
